She will discuss the future outlook for increased reliance on natural gas and the contributions natural gas will make to continued decreases in methane emissions.

Melissa Haugh is a Director at Pace Global, A Siemens Business, with extensive experience in power market analysis, generation planning and environmental policies and markets impacting the energy sector. Melissa performs and manages projects and analyses to aid clients in asset decision making, strategic planning and complying with carbon and environmental regulations imposed upon the energy sector and maximizing value streams from environmental markets as well as utilizing various incentives, particularly related to clean and renewable energy projects.

Melissa also has significant experience in traditional fossil fuel and electricity markets across North America and in financial and commercial evaluation of energy strategies for large energy producers, consumers and developers. She has presented at numerous industry events hosted by organizations including Edison Electric Institute and the American Council on Renewable Energy.

Melissa holds an MS in Environmental Policy from Drexel University and a BS in Integrated Science and Technology with concentrations in Energy and Environmental Science from James Madison University.
