Former Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. joined a group of attorneys and four former members of Congress on Monday in filing an amicus brief in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s lawsuit challenging a subpoena from the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, which is probing Bragg’s indictment of former President Donald Trump.

Bragg sued the committee, its chairman Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and subpoena recipient Mark Pomerantz, a former special assistant in his office, last week, arguing that the committee is waging a “transparent campaign to intimidate and attack” the DA in response to the indictment.
