Muriel Goode-Trufant, the New York City Law Department’s second-in-command, takes the reins of the agency as interim corporation counsel on Monday following the departure of Sylvia Hinds-Radix, who officially left the role on Friday after 2 ½ years in office.

Goode-Trufant is a 31-year veteran of the Law Department, which employs 765 attorneys and 665 support staff.
