A Manhattan attorney was disbarred on seven counts of professional misconduct that include misappropriating client funds meant for trial transcripts, not obeying a court-ordered judgment for nearly two years, and recording a court proceeding by wearing eyeglasses with a concealed camera.

Another piece of the misconduct that led the Appellate Division, First Department court to disbar Angel Antonio Castro III centered on him obtaining a $100,000 loan from a client in 2017 in order to start his solo or small law practice.
