U.S. District Judge Eric Vitaliano of the Eastern District of New York on Thursday ruled that a Brooklyn-based media production company can proceed with its lawsuit challenging a section of New York City’s administrative code dealing with the flight of unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones.

The law firm Muchmore & Associates represents Xizmo Media Productions, which has a specialty in aerial cinematography, according to court filings.
