Former Manhattan district attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. has joined Baker McKenzie as a partner,  where he will lead the firm’s cybersecurity practice.

Vance, 67, said that he never considered retirement after declining to run for re-election following three terms as district attorney. Nor did he seriously consider returning to Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello, where he served as a partner before being first elected in 2009.
