The PGA Tour and Fortinet Inc. have been sued by a sports management consultancy in federal court, alleging the two did not compensate it for its role in producing the Fortinet Championship, a major golf tournament in Napa.

Dovel & Luner, a Santa Monica-based law firm, filed the suit Wednesday on behalf of 1440 Sports Management Ltd., a London-based sports management business that focuses on golf and motorsports.
