As the uptick of COVID-19 cases in Connecticut grows and the number of hot spots encompass about 100 of the state’s 169 municipalities, administrators in both state and federal court have put a pause on jury trials.

State criminal and civil jury trials were supposed to restart Nov. 2. The state announces on a weekly basis whether jury trials will be pushed back. It has pushed them back each week since Nov. 2.
