Clifford Chance (CC) is to shrink its management committee from 16 members to 12, with the firm set to put a number of its regional head positions up for reappointment and introduce a new Continental European managing partner role.
A radical overhaul of firm governance, proposed by managing partner Matthew Layton and voted through by the partnership earlier this week, will also see the end of elections for key managerial roles.
