Latham global chair Robert Dell to retire after two decades at the top
Latham & Watkins global chair and managing partner Robert Dell is to retire from the firm at the end of 2014, after two decades heading the legal giant. Since taking over as chair and managing partner of Latham in 1995, Dell has overseen an increase in annual revenue from $262m to $2.2bn, and a near quadrupling of the firm's lawyer headcount to 2,100, despite not merging in the period.
