Linklaters and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher are advising Hewlett-Packard (HP) as German authorities investigate whether the tech giant paid nearly $11m (£7.1m) in bribes to secure a contract with the Russian Government, reports the Am Law Daily.

The investigation concerns allegations that HP officials in around 2003 paid $10.9m (£7m) to win a $47m (£30.4m) contract to build sophisticated computer systems for the office of the prosecutor general of the Russian Federation.
