Manches is set to appoint a new chief executive, with the firm bringing in Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe's former regional managing officer for Europe, Alexandrina Le Clezio. Le Clezio left Orrick in July and will take up the role in January 2010, replacing long-term post-holder Alun Lamerton, who is retiring from the firm. Her appointment marks the first new chief executive for Manches in nearly 20 years as Lamerton has held the position since he joined the firm from Lloyds Bank in July 1990.
