“I’m a trainee and looking to qualify in 2010 into real estate. It’s an area of law which I’ve always been interested in and I’ve really enjoyed the seat. My main concern is that real estate is particularly sensitive when the economy goes into a recession and I don’t want to be worrying about being made redundant in 10 years’ time when we go through yet another recession.

“Any advice? I’m interested to hear from any solicitors who qualified in real estate and have unfortunately been made redundant recently, on whether they regretted ever qualifying into this area of law…”
