Kirkland & Ellis ended its 2008 fiscal year with an increase in revenue and flat profits per partner, reports The Am Law Daily.

Revenue at the US firm rose by 7% to $1.4bn (£972m), while profits per equity partner stayed essentially flat at $2.47m (£1.71m). The Chicago-based firm, one of the US’s most profitable practices not to have originated in New York, has a fiscal year that ends 31 January.
