Reforms drawn up in the wake of the £100m BCCI court battle received only a handful of responses despite a year-long process, it has emerged.

The recommendations, drawn up by a working party headed by Mr Justice Richard Aikens and intended to streamline complex litigation in the wake of BCCI, received responses from only one law firm, one chambers and 10 individual barristers. The poor feedback came despite Aikens extending the trial period by four months in a bid to gather more feedback.
