Mishcon de Reya has completed its redundancy consultation with 17 members of staff, including two partners, losing their jobs. Legal Week understands that one salaried partner in real estate and one in corporate are among the redundancies, which are split across the two divisions. The layoffs, which include lawyers and support staff, come after a consultation that began in December last year. The firm, which had around 55 partners and more than 135 lawyers prior to the consultation, declined to comment on the redundancies but it is understood that two additional positions have been saved, with one secretary and one associate being redeployed to other divisions.
