Taylor Wessing has elected a new managing partner for its Brussels office, with the office's real estate chief Christine Flion taking the helm. Flion took over from Marc Picat from 1 December, and will continue to lead the local real estate group. She has been elected for a three-year term. Picat, who has led the Brussels office since 2005, will return to fee earning work and will continue to head up the firm's Brussels commercial and competition practice. Legacy firms Taylor Johnson Garratt and Wessing both had longstanding offices in Belgium before their 2002 merger which created Taylor Wessing. The office now has seven partners.
