Simmons to lead on Icelandic deal double
Simmons & Simmons has landed two major Icelandic instructions, with the top 10 City firm advising on transactions arising from the country's financial crisis. The top 10 City firm is advising the management shareholders of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Capital Markets (KSFCM) on their acquisition of the outstanding shares in parent bank Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, which is now in administration. The newly-independent business has been renamed Singer Capital Markets.
