Cohen Milstein Hausfeld & Toll name partner Michael Hausfeld has told colleagues that he has been "expelled" from the firm, reports The Am Law Daily. In a Friday (7 November) email to lawyers he had been working with, Hausfeld described the events as "abrupt and unceremonious.""In the meantime, I will be launching a new firm, Hausfeld LLP," he added. "Hausfeld LLP will handle competition and other complex litigation in the US and throughout the world. Along with my partners and colleagues, I look forward to speaking with you in the near future."
