US technology company Cisco Systems is looking to increase the capacity of its emerging markets legal team with the hiring of three new lawyers.The company is looking for new members of its team to work in Venezuela, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.Over the past two years the company has increased its emerging markets function from just four lawyers to 10, having recently appointed Brazil-based Charlie Cookson in August and Bengi Uslu becoming Cisco's lawyer for Turkey in July.Director of legal in emerging markets, Richard Given said: "The company is structured in a way that will help the business be close to its customers in terms of culture, language and location. It makes sense to have local people bridging the business and cultural gap."
