Printer company Lexmark has appointed Robert Patton as its new general counsel (GC) and secretary. Patton joined Lexmark in 2001 as corporate counsel and has been the company's acting GC since June. Patton will be responsible for the worldwide operations of Lexmark's legal department. Patton previously spent 15 years at Xerox Corporation and was the company's associate GC on his departure.
