DLA Piper has bolstered its presence in the Gulf after setting up a joint venture with Kuwaiti law firm Al Wagayan, Al Awadhi & Al Saif Partner, it was announced today (8 October).The joint venture, which will take the name DLA Piper Kuwait, will be financially integrated with the firm and will and gift DLA Piper 50 lawyers in the region.The office, which is headed by senior partner Nader Al Awadhi, will specialise in corporate, commercial, banking & finance, Islamic finance and projects.
