Lucasfilm has appointed David Anderman as its new general counsel. Anderman joined the organisation, famous for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, in 1998 as associate director of business affairs. He officially took up the role earlier this month and will to report to Lucasfilm vice president Howard Roffman. His appointment is his third promotion within the company after being named director of corporate business affairs in 2001 and senior director of business affairs in 2005.
