Debevoise & Plimpton has hired a partner from Bird & Bird in a boost to its City litigation practice. The US firm has taken on Sophie Lamb as an international counsel, with effect from the beginning of the month. Lamb has represented clients in sectors including private equity, investment banking, energy, engineering, life sciences, telecommunications, media and sport.
