Howard Kennedy has settled two negligence claims worth a combined total of £4.1m relating to property deals. The claims, which were expected to go to trial this year, were made by Secured Property Finance (SPF) for £1.7m in March 2007 and by two former clients - Paul Kelly and Herbert Boyle - for £2.4m in May 2007.It is understood that the cases settled close to trial, although both settlement agreements are confidential.
