DLA Piper has hired energy finance veteran David Robbins from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. He joins as counsel in the firm's Tokyo office and will spearhead the launch of the firm's standalone energy group in the region. The firm is separating its infrastructure and energy teams into two groups in Asia, having previously operated as one. The move was taken to align the region with its energy and infrastructure department in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
