Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer head of corporate finance, Barry O'Brien, has taken over the reins of one of the firm's four corporate sub-groups, replacing Mark Rawlinson, who recently took overall responsibility for the corporate practice. O'Brien now leads corporate group C, focusing on general M&A work. O'Brien was recently re-elected as a partner at the firm after two years as a consultant.
