Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis and Charlotte-based firm Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman announced yesterday (1 May) that they are in merger discussions, writes The American Lawyer.
If the talks prove to be successful, the merger would be completed by 1 July, both firms said in a statement.
