Studying law is being frowned upon at the spiritual home of the ‘dismal science’, it has emerged.

In a move that could have the legal community up in arms, Russell Group member the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) has included law in its annual list of non-preferred subjects for undergraduates. The recently issued list places law alongside 13 other ‘blacklisted’ topics, including home economics, theatre studies, and travel and tourism.
