Nixon Peabody has appointed nine new partners across the firm with effect from 1 February, 2008. The firm's Rochester office gained three new partners, while Boston gained two. The Albany, Silicon Valley, Washington DC and Chicago offices got one new partner apiece. The promotions were spread across seven different practice groups, with the firm's employment practice and venture capital group gaining two new partners.
