Baker & McKenzie has re-elected global chairman John Conroy for a second term at the helm following a partnership vote in London, where the firm is holding its partnership conference. Chicago-based Conroy took on the role in 2004. During his tenure he has overseen significant growth at Bakers, with partner profits last year breaking the $1m (£502,000) mark for the first time.
