Most associates have a view on their work and office, so it was no surprise that some 200 or so Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer associates in London signed up to attend the office’s first associates’ forum. The away-day took place in March this year and was open to all London associates. It was a key step in an initiative to give associates more of a say in the decisions that affect them and more opportunities to play a wider role within the firm.
