Wedlake Bell and DLA Piper have taken the lead advising on the UK’s first micro-hotel, Yotel, which will house 45 capsule sleeping rooms for travellers through Gatwick Airport.
Wedlake Bell construction head Joe Bellhouse led the team advising Yotel on the construction, procurement and contracts work, as well as on intellectual property aspects. DLA Piper real estate partner Karen Friebe advised on the property aspects of the deal.
