Clifford Chance (CC) is to pull the plug on its Padua outpost in the northeast of Italy, with a number of the team set to relocate to its office in Milan. The closure is due to take place by the end of July. The seven-lawyer Padua team will be offered the chance to relocate to the City giant's Milan branch, which currently numbers around 120 lawyers and is headed by local managing partner Charles Adams. It is not yet known whether the entire team will make the switch.
