The Government has today (9 May) opened the doors to its new-look Ministry of Justice in the face of mounting criticism over the changes from the UK’s senior judiciary.

The Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer, was this week confirmed as the inaugural Secretary of State for Justice, with Harriet Harman, David Hanson, Baroness Ashton of Upholland, Gerry Sutcliffe, Bridget Prentice and Vera Baird all claiming ministerial positions.
