The Law Society has kicked off an independent review into staff retention at UK law firms. The project was unveiled at a launch event on Monday (29 January), which included presentations from Law Society president Fiona Woolf and DLA Piper commercial property partner Alison Gowman. The research, which will be published in April, will include an online survey and will cover issues including work/life balance, flexible hours, mentoring and professional development.
