It’s not every day you get famously stubborn animals in the office of the Lord Chief Justice – not since the days when St Martin-in-the-Fields was still in a field.

That is all set to change, however, with Enoch – the pet goat of fast-rising literary icon RS Morello – set to accompany the author and self-styled ‘pen-pal to the stars’ to a private audience with Baron Phillips of Worth Matravers today (14 December).
