Independent Law Firms In Europe: Open Door Policy
The pace of change among Ukrainian independents is picking up - thanks in part to an influx of new firms this year. Lauren Milner reports
Beiten Burkhardt’s Kiev managing partner Felix Rachwitz predicts that 2007 will be “a very important year” for the Ukrainian legal market. The German independent launched its 18-lawyer Ukraine practice in 2004 with just a handful of lawyers; Rachwitz hopes to double the number of fee earners by the end of 2007.
