Clyde & Co has hired Lovells tax veteran Trefor John as a partner in its London headquarters. John, who was Lovells' head of tax knowledge management, is the latest departure from the firm's City tax team after head of international tax Daniel Friel and tax partner Sean Finn left for the UK arm of US firm Latham & Watkins at the beginning of the year.
