Simmons & Simmons has sealed a role on a major capital markets deal, advising Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) on a $3.5bn (£1.8bn) bond issue, marking the biggest capital markets issue by a Middle Eastern company.
The deal, which was led by London energy finance partner Adam Cooper, saw TAQA issue three tranches of bonds which listed on the London Stock Exchange on 29 October, making it the largest Eurobond from a Middle Eastern issuer.
