Cobbetts repels City rivals to secure trophy BBC construction mandate

Cobbetts has landed a coup for advisers based outside London with the northwest firm grabbing an eye-catching role advising Peel Holdings on the £300m construction of the BBC’s new Manchester base.

The top 50 firm landed the mandate for the city’s new ‘Media City:UK’ site after winning out in a tender process last month. The tender process is also thought to have included bids from Addleshaw Goddard and Berwin Leighton Paisner.
