American International Group (AIG), the world’s biggest insurer, has recruited one of the US’ best-known female lawyers, Anastasia Kelly, as its new general counsel.
Kelly, who stepped down as general counsel of MCI earlier this year after its merger with communications giant Verizon, replaces Ernest Patrikis, who spent seven years as AIG general counsel.
