Herbert Smith has appointed finance partner Jake Jackaman as its first debt capital markets chief as the top 10 London firm moves to build on recent client wins and develop its securitisation practice.
The appointment will see Jackaman head up the team of three partners, including Jane Borrows and Dina Albagli, and 12 associates, which the firm is aiming to increase in the short term with two new associates set to join in the coming months.
