Goldman Sachs’ Terry Miller has been appointed general counsel of the London 2012 Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) in what promises to be one of Europe’s most high-profile corporate counsel jobs.

The investment bank’s international general counsel, who oversees the bank’s legal operations in Europe and Asia, replaces Charles Wijeratna, who moves to the role of director of commercial negotiations. She will report to LOCOG chief executive and ex-Goldman Sachs colleague Paul Deighton.
