Twenty years on from the European Directive 86/653/CEE regarding commercial agency contracts, the long story of the implementation of this directive in Italy has come to an end – thanks to a decision of the Court of Justice of 23 March, 2006.
The issue that brought about the Court of Justice’s judgment is the calculation of the indemnity on termination of an agency contract.
