Richards Butler and Reed Smith secure merger vote

Richards Butler and US suitor Reed Smith have joined the select club of law firms to have secured a transatlantic merger after yesterday (15 June) rubber-stamping their proposed union.

The pair yesterday (15 June) agreed the tie-up in a partners’ vote, forging a giant with 1,300 lawyers and a global turnover of around $725m (£414m).
