Top 50 UK law firm Mills & Reeve has signed up for the Mimecast ‘Always On’ e-mail service to prevent downtime. The Smart Perimeter managed service provides security and e-mail continuity to the firm’s 700 staff. In the event of the e-mail server going down, Mimecast delivers web-mail while still providing access to stored e-mail.
Graeme Law, IT director of Mills & Reeve, said: “Continuous delivery of e-mail is an absolute pre-requisite for our business moving forward. E-mail is now the most business-critical application.”
