Herbert Smith has called in a management consultant to help under-take a wide-ranging strategy review of its international practices against the backdrop of a surge in major cross-border transactional work.
Senior partner David Gold is leading the review, which will start next month and will see the firm’s managing boards – the executive committee and the part-nership council – meet for the first time to work on the process.
