02 has added the Xda IQ smartphone with Wi-Fi and push-email to its business range, for mobile professionals who need a device they can readily slip into a pocket.

The Xda IQ is the operator’s first phone to come with push-email enabled, for the delivery of messages straight to the user’s inbox. It runs the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform with a pocket version of the Outlook inbox, calendar and contacts. The 1.3-megapixel camera will take printable shots, and the Wi-Fi is useful for VOIP and fast internet access. However, road warriors who plan on composing lengthy messages will need patience using the standard number pad.
