Watson Farley & Williams, led by corporate partner Jan Mellmann, has advised AIM-listed energy company Ming Resources on the acquisition of the shares of oil and gas company Inke Petroleum and the £13.1m re-admission to AIM of the renamed company, Matra Petroleum. Pinsent Masons corporate partner Jon Harris advised the brokers, Westhouse Securities, on the deal. Inke Petroleum was advised in-house.
